3 red players start with the ball in the centre of the square, 3 red players "locked" in corners. Red team aim to reach X number of passes. Can use the corner players for passes. Corner player can't pass to another corner player. 3 blue players defending. Can't enter corner boxes. When they win the ball - aim to pass or carry into an empty corner box. Red team can't use an empty corner space. Equivalent to own goal! Variations: 1. (above) Corner players locked - blue players can't enter. 2. When a corner player has been passed to twice, they are unlocked from their corner and can enter the center. 3. "locked" corner players no longer safe. I.e. blue players can enter the corner spaces. Note: play sideline balls as normal - but reset the game if possession changes 3 or 4 times.
Attackers Communication: players on the outside have the best view of the game. Listen to their direction. In and out: play the ball in and out of dangerous areas. Like playing into a press. Pre-scan and decide on where you are receiving and where you are passing on to. Defence When ball is in corners - hold shape (triangle?). When ball goes to player in the centre, "collapse" press in on them.
