Mix up the age groups. Split them into teams of 4/5. Set up small-sided games in an area approx 15m x 15m. The aim is to complete as many consecutive passes as possible without being intercepted by the other team or losing the ball off the side of the playing area. The 1 team who has completed the most number of passes at the end of the 10 mins chooses a punishment for the losing teams. If players are very static in their playing areas, introduce this condition: once you have passed the ball, you must run to the opposite side of the area before you can receive it again Focus on maintaining possession, working as a team to press the ball (when not in possession), movement off the ball to get into space
