Procedure: Pass-and-follow drill. Passes (or at least the final pass into the circle) should all be hits. Shooter tries to score with one touch: either a slap, deflection or tip-in. Progressions/Variations: Optional: precede this drill with hitting practice in pairs. Follow up this drill with a game that incentivises this skill.
This drill is aimed at lower-level/intermediate juniors. Aim: To practice deflected/'tip-in' goals To get the ball into the box quickly and test the keeper Feedback: The hit into the box needs to be powerful and along the ground. Don't go to ground before the pass is made into the circle.
