Technical 1 â Catching the ball in flight ⢠Players to work in pairs initially (will up to 3s with progressions) ⢠Player with the ball throws the ball up over the top of player 2 so that player has to run back, track the ball and catch it. ⢠Progression â Player with the ball throws up and both players jump and compete for it. Winner scores point and throws up next time. ⢠Progression â Working in 3s now. Player throws ball up or rolls so that one of the players (nominated) aims to catch or secure. Third player provides a little pressure Technical 2 â Securing the ball on the floor Same setups essentially as the catching games but instead use ball along the floor instead of throwing (could use bouncing ball as progression) ⢠For third progression variation use the third player as a support player (rather than pressure). In this instance the throwing or rolling player provides the follow up pressure. ⢠The support player must secure the ball considering body position etc ⢠Progression â Addition of players or delays to the `pressure` player`s arrival
