On first whistle blast, both player 1s un around the outside cone as the coach rolls the ball toward the center of the grid, as both player 1s try to dive on the ball first. As players run into the grid toward th the ball, the coach blows a second whistle blast to release player 2s, who run around the outside cone to support. The first player 1 to jump on the ball must present the ball properly to the correct side; the support player sets up the ruck as the opposition counters, setting up a 2 v. 1 ruck situation.
