Line of defenders start on a point and move up on the call of the middle player. when the attack moves left or right the defensive line mirrors their movement. Progress to faster movement then introduce ball and let attackers try to break through the line. At various points in the drill shout turnover, hand the ball to the nearest player and they should then proceed to change to an attacking line and run the ball out wide. Once out wide shout turnover (Defence) and they should then proceed to get back in a defensive line.
Look to keep the players at finger tips reach from each other. Look to slow it down if it gets too messy. Look & listen for communication in keeping line straight and moving in the correct directions. look and listen for communication at turnover stages.
