This a basic passing drill to introduce young players to moving and passing. Using the channels to keep them in line and stop them bunching up! - Set up 4 channels. - Each groups starts at a slow pace to focus on the pass - Speed up to a jog then a run after a few goes. - Ball has to travel through hands there and back
Start by reminding players of the key parts of passing; hands on the ball correctly and passing backward etc. Progress the activity by letting another group go when the first group get to the far end of the channel and turn around - This will then challenge them to pass around each other! Set up a second set of channels and let two teams race each other, but remember the focus is on the pass.
