DESCRIPTION

Ball each players have to stand next to the ball with the ball on the right. On the whistle the players should turn towards the ball spread their feet either side of the ball bend down and put the stick behing the ball. This would be the position the ball should be stopped. Repeat the practivce lots of times to make sure every player understands the position. Then progress to the passing of the ball in pairs.

Correction technique:

This exercise is very good for teaching players to run with the stick at the right angle.
Make the players run with the ball with both their hands near the ground. and tell them that after a couple 5 meters they can come up slow to where they feel comfortable.
This normally makes the players run lower then they where and also makes them keep the ball in front of them while running

Video Techniques

Forehand to Forehand:

Players pass and control ball on stick, forehand to forehand.

Ball is not allowed to bounce off the stick.

Hand Stop:

To teach players to stick stop this practice is a good warm up to taech them how to absorb the ball and show them the importance of the left hand in the strick stop

The players should get in pairs and roll the ball at each other for thepartner to stop the ball with the hand and roll the ball slightly forward.
