Hi Alicia. To help your under 15's team improve their passing and reduce turnovers, focusing on drills that emphasise accuracy and decision-making can be beneficial. Here are a few suggestions:
- Passing Drill with Defender: This drill involves groups of three, where two players pass to each other while a defender tries to intercept. This helps players practice making quick decisions and executing accurate passes under pressure. You can find more details 1 here.
- 10 Passes to Score: This small game encourages players to maintain possession by making 10 consecutive passes. It helps in improving focus and teamwork. Check it out 2 here.
- Small Unit Possession Warm-ups: This drill involves attackers and defenders in a small area, focusing on maintaining possession through quick, accurate passes. More information is available 3 here.
These drills should help your team become more efficient with their passing and reduce unnecessary turnovers. Good luck!
