defenders not using 3ft rule?
what's the best way to stop a defender from not using the 3 ft rule?
Hello Brianna,
First things first check that your defender knows how far three feet is. If not show them by either marking it out or using a piece of string or a stick. Once they have this point of reference it should help them to visualise the distance when defending.
I've just used the search bar (top right) and found these links which might also be of use:
- Answer: How to teach players to keep their distance in defence?
- Session: Three Foot Marking: Stop giving away free passes!
- Game: Reward the defence
All the best,
