This a drill/game that helps you with shooting and efficiency. The 1st team (people in red) will be lining up in 2's on the left side of the back baseline and the 2nd team (people in blue) will be lining up at the hoop on the same side as the 1st team. The people at the back of the line for the red team are called the 'golden children' they start running in 2's and when everybody in the red team has run because they run all the way round the court and keep going doing laps until the Coach blows his whistle because at the same time the 2nd team is trying to score and if they score the runners for the red team have to sit down where they are. The purpose of the golden children is that when everybody in the red team except the golden children have sat down, the golden children run and as they pass the ones sitting down they stand back up and run with them and get 1 point for each one group of two but once everybody has reached where they started that round ends and then team number one and team number two switch and they do it all again. How you stop the golden children is the same way as you stop everybody else.
This is to help the students with their endurance and shooting abilities.
