How to force attacker to where you want him to go - choose where you want attacker to go- make sure you close of the side you don't want him to go by:1. standing = position on that side (which means not in front of the ball, but on a side of the ball) 2. hold you stick ready to defend any ball who comes to the side you don't want him to go. Do not over committ and try to get the ball if the attacker goes to the side you want him to go. Just let him go, hold your stick on the side you don't want him to go Remember: if you also try to get the ball on the side you allow the attacker to go, your stick will be gone from the lane you wanted to close, which means the attacker will see the opportunity. You just need to wait till the attacker makes a mistakes and try to get on the laten you care closing down.
