This drill is to practice crossing. 2 should shield the ball well with their body, imagining the cones are the path of the defender. 1 should not stand around waiting for the ball. Post-up / keep your marker moving Discuss different choices of cross: far/near post square/behind to penalty spot Questions: How can you use the overload to overcome the defender? Scoring: Bonus point for shooting high into goal Follow up this activity with a more game-based attacking activity, i.e. 4v2 in the final quarter.
