Organise 5 x 10 meter channels. 5 v 5 attack defense. Defenders line up opposite their attacker within their channel: 20m apart as if defending a lineout. 2nd wave off attackers stands directly behind 1st wave. Scrum Half feeds attacking Fly Half launching attack. Defending "Fly Half" organises defense to press and apply pressure. Touch Tackle to begin. (attack has 2 touches - Scrum Half follows attack to pass ball on) Objective: defense must prevent a try being scored. When try scored, or attacker stopped (3 touch tackles or one completed full contact tackle) repeat with 2nd wave of attack. After 2 attacks the defense swaps with the first wave.
Defence must allign themselves on the outside shoulder. Fly Half dictates Pace of defence. Maintain defensive line. Communication - Talking and listening Press quickly. Press fast, slow down and accelerate into tackle. Increase difficulty to full contact only when group shows ability to impliment the skill.
