3 attackers vs 9 defenders. Each attacker has a ball. Defenders need to work as a unit to make each tackle a 3 vs 1 Change the attackers and have a mix of big strong runners and/or fast steppers. Define a gain line, where attackers must be stopped. Move to 1 ball to encourage a drift defence. Kick the ball to the 3 attackers and start the drill as a kick return with defenders chasing. Ensure they are on side. Increase the number of attackers. Drop a defender to make it harder. Have tackle buddies. Split the good defenders across the line. Can turn into a fitness drill quickly.
