Community | Test Passing Drill

G Campbell Player, Scotland

DESCRIPTION

First player starts 5/10m away from defensive line. Stage one: At pace, attackers pass the ball along the line before reaching the defensive line. Stage two: Same drill for the attackers but now the defenders move forward as a blitz defence. Starting with a slow pace then building it up to a run. They will always smash into the attacker opposite them. Stage three: Same as stage two but now the first attacker will call out a set move (loop, dummy switch pass, switch 2-3/3-4/4-5, "hands", etc). The defence won't know in advance so will have to react but maintain their line.
