Ruck support drill.
2 to 4 defenders with hit shields. 2 pods of 2 to 3 ruck attack players. 2 link attack players. Ball is passed to lead attack player who either goes into contact or makes a pass before contact and supports the ball carrier. The ball carrier attacks the space around the defenders and the support players clean out to produce clean ball. The link player passes to the 2nd link player who then passes to the 2nd ruck pod. Play continues left to right for 2 to 4 phases then swap around the players. Option to limit time of each ruck 2 to 5 seconds. Option to vary distance between defenders between phases.
