Start with many balls scattered at the net on both sides. Players will start with one point with both teams starting from the baseline to determine who gets to start up at the net first. If a team wins a point, they will move up to the net and grab a ball and feed from the net. Play the point out, winning teams stays at the net and losing team moves back to the baseline. Only score points if you win the point feeding from the net.
Use this drill to emphasize OWNING THE NET. Get all up on the net and dominate the net with angles, dropshots, etc. Force the other team to beat you with a lob because you don't lose any points from doing so.
