Hockey: Forehand drag dummy

Pass the ball out of pressure and find space to attack with this speedy stickwork and ball switching plan

Player 2 runs to receive the ball from player 1 before then carrying the ball to the cones.

Player 2 then turns 180 degrees and passes the ball to player 1 who has followed their pass up the field to support. Player 2 then runs to the back of the other queue as players 1 receives the ball and then passes it across the area to the opposite line (white player 1).

Both queues should be working at the same time.

Teams of 4 try and pass the ball across the pitch as quickly as possible, not missing any players out.

Each player should at least touch the ball twice. The first team to pass the ball 10 times across the pitch is the winner.

The 3 blue players are trying to pass the ball through one of the 3 goals in the middle of the area to one of the three players on the opposite side.

They can do this by running with the ball, dummy passing or transferring the ball between them to draw to two defenders out of position and create space for the pass.

The 2 defenders can only intercept the ball. When they do so they have to try and and pass the ball over the back line behind the 3 blue players who just lost the ball.

- The goal is to move the ball towards then cone, then cut it back quickly. This attempts to make a defender into making a challenge, allowing the attacker to move around a static player
