Players line up in 2 lines facing each other.
Drill continues...
Players need to drive out to meet the ball - hands out in front ready and signaling for the ball.
Encourage players to clear the space quickly to allow the practice to flow.
Feeders need to throw an accurate, high, powerful ball to the player driving towards them in order for the player to be able to turn in the air - shoulder or overhead pass.
Turning in the air is a much quicker way of getting in the direction you wish to pass the ball rather than pivoting. Pivoting is very stop start whereas turning in the air if executed correctly is performed n one fluid movement allowing the attacker to have a edge on the defender.
