This week's session is all about spatial awareness, knowing who's around you - friend or foe - and knowing where the best option lies!
It might seem like a simple skill but teaching players to look and scan the court is a vital skill. If your players can't see what's going on around them then they're more likely to make a mistake! Being aware allows your players to make better tactical decisions, so they can anticipate quicker and pass the ball with accuracy.
What's in the Session?
To get your players scanning the court this session starts with three great warm ups, designed to get your players looking at what's going on all around them. Once your players are nicely warmed up we then progress the skill - teaching players to look one way while still focusing on what other movement is going on around them!
