DESCRIPTION

Put tape on the floor for the players to practice the correct foot patterns for the attack approach. Left, right, left for a right handed player and right, left, right for a left handed player.

Follow my lead:

Player one walks through the court while player two must follow them, dribbling the ball with one hand as they do so.

2 Warm Up

Get up, stand up!:

Throw the ball in the air using two hands, move to where the ball is coming down sit down on the floor and catch the ball.

When you have caught the ball throw the ball up in the air and get up ready to catch it.

VSW:READY TO CATCH

Bump:

Throw the ball in the air, let it bounce then bend your legs. Put your arms out in front and bump the ball up using mainly leg movement not arm swing.

Keep it going, changing which arm you bump the ball with (try and use good rhythm and mainly legs).

MVW:READY TO REBOUND

Throw and Catch With Legs:

Throw the ball in the air using two hands, move to where the ball is coming down, lay or sit down on the floor and catch the ball between the legs.

When you have caught the ball, throw it up in the air, get up and catch it.
