Best stats program for the Android or iPad?

2. Volleyball Ace for ipad and android

Those 2 programs I believe to be the best out there. VB Ace is more expensive with several more features, you must also purchase seperately their analyzing software for you laptop or desktop.

iStatVball's basic version is inexpensive and does a very good job of capturing most relevent data. Their Pro version adds the reporting features nearly that of Ace. No android version available.

You can't go wrong with either.

I have looked at the Istat app for Iphone. Unless you are a seasoned coach and know what each item to be captured is called youu'll be lost. It is not for the beginner for sure, which is what I am. I am loving this website, have creatted ny first chalkboard and am learning every instant!

Consider "McStats-VBall" (for Android) on Google Play store.

Free version only lets you save 2 matches but full version is only $6 once you confirm you like it.  I just installed the free version to check it out.  Looks wonderful, and easy to use.

Once you pre-enter your roster, then create a match easy to position your players on the court.  As you record stats your players even rotate on the court when you win serve reception!  So all you need to do with each movement of the ball is click the player that touched the ball, and record what happen (serve, ace, dig, set, kill, attempts & errors)

I downloaed the free version.  Straight forward to use.  I will try this during my first team tournament tomorrow.

If you have to coach and keep stats, I have found SoloStats123 to be the best. It`s impossible to keep every hit and every dig and coach at the same time but this iPad app at least gets you good error & point tracking. You can also rate your serve receivers and see what rotations are working for you and which need to be tweaked.

I second Solostats 123.. Great program and you can also subscribe to the web reports which provide more in-depth analysis by match, player, etc.

If you`re not using Solostats Live, you`re missing out. Wouldn`t trade it for the world.. I coach usually with no assistant during club and this app is a life saver with on-the-fly stats, etc.. check it out.
