This way of clearing the ball at 16 yard hits can be done even when the 16 yard is taken from slightly left or slightly right of the goal. CB takes the ball, Sweeper stationed in the middle of the attackers press to recieve, then passes straight back to CB who pushes out to RB who then hits up the pitch to clear up to Mids or can go back to the CB/Sweeper again to switch it to the Left if they find the channel up the pitch is blocked off by the oppositions attackers. N.B. The Left is the defence's weakest side, but the attacker's strongest - we should be trying to clear up the right if possible.
