The defender begins with the ball and passes to the attacker. Once the pass is made, the defender immediately closes down to defend. The attacker tries to beat the defender and score, while the defender works to force the attacker away from the middle and toward the baseline. Play continues until a goal is scored, the defender wins possession, or the ball leaves the area.
Coaching Points - Attack Attack the defender with speed. Threaten the middle first. Change speed after your move. Finish before recovery arrives. Coaching Points - Defense Stay between attacker and goal. Force wide then towards the baseline. Stay low with active feet. Be patient
