This is a small sided practice to focus on our game and our key principles as HTA. Two teams of 4 or 5 will play SUP going towards one goal. The attacking team are looking to score, if they manage to score then they can restart with a new ball from the 25 - coach can place this wherever they see fit or roll one in. The game is live as soon as the ball is in. The defenders are trying to carry the ball over the 25 for an immediate turn and burn (becoming attackers). Play for 2 minute blocks at brutal intensity.
On ball: Far side passing Contacts Blocking and screening Attacking space and switches. Promoting to next layer. Transition speed. Off ball: Deny easy baseline entries Win crucial moments and space Transition speed to win the next play Forcing attackers to roll away from goal and being able to block backhand shots. Stay in the contest.
