Split group into groups of four In grids (5m x 10m) Place one player on tackle shield, ball carrier attempts to evade tackle shield. Once contact is made player with ball goes to ground and presents whilst one player clears out and the other acts as scrumhalf. Focus- Ball carry- 2 hands, away from tackler, attempt to stay on feet as long as possible Presentation- long body position, holding onto ball securely at arms length Clear out- low body position, using shoulder drives back defender ensuring it is done legally including through the gate Communication- support players must dictate when ball carrier goes to ground
