This drill provides the basic motion to the defensive fold. The tackle sausage on the ground represents the break down. The green cones represent A gap and B gap. On the coach will call out a number. That number of players will shuffle past the breakdown into the proper defensive position. Then the coach will blow the whistle, the C gap defender goes after the "10" (Shield Holder) while the rest of the defense goes up 5m in a flat line
Stress facing the defense and "bumping" defenders already in position Look to combine this with a tackling or breakdown drill Preach staying flat over shooting up fast Look for a good defensive position On toes, bent knees, weight forward, set to hit or move
