Community | Passing under pressure/ Sprinting onto the ball

Erika Bauer Coach, United States of America

DESCRIPTION

Srummy passes either left or right (alternating) while first ball carrier sprints onto the pass. They continue running into the approaching ruck pad and pass it off to the second ball carrier who also sprints onto the ball.

COACHING POINTS

ensure the ball carriers are maintaining their spacing while also being sure to sprint onto the pass. Passes should be able to be almost flat as to not lose groung. Ruck Pads are there to serve as defense to intimidate first ball carrier. They can make contact with first ball carrier if they do not get the pass off in time.
