DESCRIPTION

1. Dribbling Tube Two players assume the bear crawl position on opposite ends of the tackle Tube. Players pass the ball up the sides of the tackle tube to the other keeping control of the ball and hips below shoulder height 2. Drive and Dribble/Hook Assume the bear crawl position on a tyre. For No.8 place the ball at their feet and have them drive the tyre while keeping the ball under the body. For hookers have a second player feed the ball at shoulder height and have them hook the ball then quickly transition to drive.

COACHING POINTS

1. Dribble Tube flat back stable hips light on the feet small touches with the feet long reach with the leg under the body to pass 2. Dribble Drive maintain strong stable body position keep hips low small step and touches to drive/ control the ball quick hook aiming for the legs of the prop, quick replacement of the foot into a drive
