Set up a 3m x 3m area, with an attacker and a defender inside. A feeder stands outside the area and starts with the ball. You can set this up in the context of the court with the feeder starting on the Centre circle and the box being in a shooting third.
The feeder tosses the ball up to themselves to start the drill and turns to face the attacker.
The attacker's aim is to come over the front line to recieve the ball, getting free from the defender.
3 seconds for a pass once drill has begun.
The defender should stay at an angle to be able to watch the attacker's movements and be careful to intercept by cutting into the path of the ball rather than contacting the attacker.
The area available can be adapted to make it harder or easier depending on the ability of the players.
Have the defender start outside the box in between the feeder and the attacker.
