Netball: Popping over

Set up:

Split players into groups of at least 7 with 1 ball using the goal third. Number 1 starts with the ball.

The Drill:

Player 1 passes the ball to number 3. Meanwhile number 2 holds her defence and turns to receive the second pass and shoots at goal, with number 1 moving in for the rebound.

Player 3 can call as she receives the ball for number 2 to turn

Player 2 must hold firmly and try to remain directly in between the defence and number 3.

1. White player 1 throws to Blue player 1, then runs quickly into circle and receives ball back.
   
   
2. White player 1 then shoots, collects the ball, and passes to Red player 1, before joining the back of the Red player's line.
   
   
3. Red player 1 does the same from the other side and the drill continues.

One player, the feeder, starts on the edge of the circle. The other player, the worker (number 1 in the diagram) runs around one of the cones set out on the edge of the shooting circle, then drives back into the circle to receive the ball before making the shot.

Shooter collects the successful shot or rebound, passes back out to the feeder and repeats with an alternative cone.

Blue player 1 dodges to receive from blue 2. The player inside the circle then returns the pass and dodges again.

Before being allowed to make the shot the circle player must receive 5 passes.

After 5 passes the defender takes the rebound, moves out of the circle and becomes the feeder so all 3 players rotate.
