A fundamental skill within netball is passing, in particular passing accuracy in order to maintain possession. Passing is incredibly important as it can dictate the speed of play, therefore it is crucial your players know when to speed up or slow the ball down.
What's in the Session?
The session begins with a fun warm up game focused around maintaining possession. This warm up will not only get your players pulse raised but also get them thinking about keeping the ball safe in order to score points. The session progresses to allow your players to practice perfecting the perfect pass, whilst including movement to ensure your players can combine multiple skills. ?Passing into the Leading Player? allows your players to practice the accuracy of their passing, making the drill more game like. It is important that your players pass the ball in front of the player so they can drive onto the ball to prevent an interception. The session concludes with a modified game of netball, with certain conditions placed upon the game to get your players implementing what they have learnt.
