What?s in the Session?
The session begins with a fun warm-up to get your players working together as a defensive unit, to limit the space available and obtain turnovers. This is a great warm up to get your players thinking about their movement and how they can work together. This theme follows throughout the session, as drills are provided to encourage your players to work as a unit to turn over the ball. ?Reward the defence? provides a game-like situation for the defenders to practice their movement, angles and all 3 stages of defence. The session concludes with a half-court game situation to get your players demonstrating what they have learnt.
