Revisit your players' core passing and catching skills with this refresher skills session, working on:
This refresher session isn't going to be a walk in the park for your players, we're expecting everyone to work hard! Your players will be controlling the ball in a range of positions (lunging and stretching) and there are progressions included to push your more able players.
What's in the Session?
In a game the faster your players are, the more chance they'll have of beating their opposition.
To improve your players' speed of release in this session we challenge players to release the ball in the same place they catch it. For example, if the worker catches the ball with her left hand outstretched, they must quickly release the ball with their left hand outstretched. They must not bring the ball back into their body.
