To work on this technique we start with the basics and following a musical warm up we look at how to build the bump - passing the ball off your forearms from a balanced stance to set up a player on your team.
Contrary to what some of your players might think, the power for this passing technique doesn't come from wildly swinging your arms at the ball but from the legs!
Divided into three separate sections this session starts players off on their own - giving them time to practice and experiment with the technique. Once your players have got the hang of this we then get to work in small groups as a team, trying to keep the ball in the air using the bump and set for as long as possible. Finally it's time to put their skills to the test in the final game!
