its called a BAD SERVE!! a Float serve is contacted at the hi point of the swing with the palm of the hand no wrist snap. A top spin serve is contacted at the hi point of the swing with the palm and fingers (wrist snap) over the top of the ball, much like a hit/spike or down ball. You are dummy to think the heel of your hand should ever be used as a primary contact in volleyball.
