All players except [2] terminators start in the box. Players move around the playing area, dribbling imaginary balls. Coach gradually throws in balls until everyone has one. As balls are thrown in, players keep swapping passes. On coach's command, the terminators enter area and try to hit all balls out. If you lose your ball, help your team-mates keep their ball, by finding space to receive a pass. Time limit (60) sec, then switch Terminators. Note: Don't omit stage 1, because it reminds everyone that the aim of the game is to keep balls in play by passing away from terminators. Otherwise everyone will just guard their own ball and not pass. Variation: Have a safe zone for new/younger players only.
Can you pass to each other to help keep the balls in play? (If you lose your ball, help your team-mates keep their ball, by finding space to receive a pass) How do your team-mates know you are in space and can help them? (Call to them, look at them, point with your stick)
