Use this session to get your players to lie in wait, like a venus fly trap, waiting for the perfect opportunity to snap shut, intercept and win back the ball for your side!
What's in the Session?
To get your players' feet moving, making sharp interceptions we open with a warm up designed to improve your players' reactions, getting them to time their drive and snatch the ball. We then get your players running hard, working on their acceleration off the mark to see if they're able to read the pass and intercept the ball.
Be sharp, read the pass and drive to make the interception!
What's so important about interceptions?
Winning the ball is a key skill for all netball players. Without the ball you can't win! Also, the less the opposition have the ball the less chance they have of scoring.
