Player 1 (the spiker) passes the ball to player 2 (the setter) who sets it up for the spiker to attack with the aim of landing the ball on one of the target mats placed in various positions on the court.
Ask your player to control the ball completely rather than spike it heavily. Get players to hit the targets regularly.
