6 cones, W, F & 1 Ball Drive out on the angle, side step across Angle drive up and back Drive fwd, side step across Angle drive up and back Next worker starts Drive fwd to take pass When rotating players W becomes the Feeder, previous Feeder joins the back of the line
Players should aim to keep their running movements straight and direct between the cones and avoid running a small curve on their changes of direction. As your players change direction, ensure theyâre turning their hips and knee to face the direction theyâre going to run next. When sidestepping, look for your players to bend their knees slightly and keep their feet light and quick. It should be a fast foot movement, rather than a long, loping movement. Players can either run a number of repetitions (3-6, depending on age and ability) before switching with their throwing partner, or work in groups of three and rotate continuously until each player has completed the set number of repetitions
