DESCRIPTION

Both players stand with their arms straight and hands on the shoulders of their playing partner. The aim of the game is to lightly touch the top of your partner's foot with your foot.

Defensive Dig and Push Drill over the net:

A defensive dig before a push into the air and then sets across the net to player 2.

5 Drills

Near and far - Set Passing:

In pairs half a metre from the net players volley the ball cooperatively over the net moving side-ways until they reach the end of the net.

Players then move back to the 3 metre line and volley the ball high to each other moving the opposite way until they reach the other end of the net where they move back close to the net and repeat.

4 Passing Drills

Roll spin and sit - Part 2:

In pairs, one player rolls the ball out along the floor and their partner has to run past the ball, wait for the ball to approach them and let the ball roll between their legs before running ahead of the ball again and waiting for it to roll towards them again.

Players should then squat and sit on the ball without using their hands for balance or trapping the ball in between their legs.

Sit on the ball:

This fun warm up sees players working in pairs 3-4 meters apart.

To start the game the first player rolls the ball to their partner who lets the ball go between their legs before trying to stop the ball by sitting on top of it.

Drill continues in this way.
