This drill can be used to focus on footwork, changes of direction, quick hands, the timing of passing etc. - affectionately known as 'The Boot'! Active for both worker and feeder.
Basic Movements Worker (red) starts with the ball, and passes to feeder (green). Worker moves forward to first cone/marker, changes direction and indicates for the pass, sprinting out to receive ball from feeder at the 'toe' of the boot. Once the feeder releases the ball, they move towards the 'heel' of the boot to receive the give-and-go pass from the worker. The worker then follows towards the 'heel' to receive ball again from feeder, pivots, and passes to next worker (blue). Feeder returns to the 'toe' to receive the next ball from the next worker (blue). Possible Focus Points Ask players to use a specific landing you wish to focus on, concentrating on the pauses/stops and pivots - especially on the back pass to the next worker (blue). Feeders should time the pass to the worker the ball is received at the cones/markers. All passes should be made to the space rather than the player (except the final pass back to the next worker).

Tight markers win when attackers run in straight lines. Teach your players to dodge, change pace and time their drive so they get free when the ball is ready.
When everyone chases the ball, nobody is free. Teach your team to spread out, offer two options and clear space so the ball moves cleanly down court.
A shooter who can hold a strong position under the post is worth more than one who runs all over the circle. Here is how to coach body shape, a legal hold and a well-timed release, and how feeders make the most of it.
