-There are four cones set up as a diamond. Three players will stand by a cone so there will always be one cone free. -When a player passes a ball to their teammate, they must move into the spare cone. -The players can use different passes to pass the ball e.g. chest pass, bounce pass and overhead pass. -There is a defender whose job is to intercept the ball. -Now the players must have to think about the pass they make. -If the ball has been intercepted, the defender must be changed. If no interception has been made, change the defender.
-Can players move the ball quick to make it hard for the defender -Can the players use different types of passes to get round the defender e.g. bounce pass to get under the defender and a overhead pass the go over the defender.

Tight markers win when attackers run in straight lines. Teach your players to dodge, change pace and time their drive so they get free when the ball is ready.
When everyone chases the ball, nobody is free. Teach your team to spread out, offer two options and clear space so the ball moves cleanly down court.
A shooter who can hold a strong position under the post is worth more than one who runs all over the circle. Here is how to coach body shape, a legal hold and a well-timed release, and how feeders make the most of it.
