Community | Sequential Passing

DESCRIPTION

Mark the court out into three thirds, vertically, using cones. Position opposing players against their counterparts, in the order of usual play. Team one starts with the ball and passes across the middle third, to the next player in their team, working down the court until the ball gets to GS, who then shoots. If GS loses possession or the ball leaves their area, play returns to the opposing team, from their GK. Team two marks their opposing team member and attempts to get possession of the ball. If successful, play restarts with team two's GK.

COACHING POINTS

Players must stay either side of the middle third, and within the thirds their position is usually allowed ot be in. Speed and accuracy should be encouraged and footwork/time limit/contact rules adhered to.
