All formats of volleyball (2v2, 3v3, 4v4 and 6v6) can be played with similar rules while sitting on the floor and by playing sitting volleyball.

4v4 circulation (1):

A game of 4v4, in either the basic or advanced style. After each crossing of the net by the ball, players rotate one place around a position on court, increasing the mental concentration needed by the players to adapt to the different roles on court in each position

SMVD:4V4 ALTERNATIVES

Glued to the Line:

Players walk around the court stepping on the lines, so walking towards the net, then across the net, then back again.

While doing this, they are overhand passing the ball in the air.

2 Warm Up

Three Ball Game - Keep it up!:

3 balls in play, teams of 4 in each half of the court.

Each court has 1 ball which they must pass around constantly, with all players participating.

At the same time, each team attempts to pass another ball back and forth between the teams, with the aim of getting the ball to land on the opposition's side of the court.

9 Conditioned games

Bounce Game:

Players work in pairs with one ball.

Players play within a section of court and are attempting to get the ball to bounce twice to win a point.

Players can catch the ball in one hand to the side of them, moving up and down with the motion of the ball as they catch and release the ball.
