Working in groups of three around four cones, the girls should stand at each cone (one space). Player 1 (WD in diagram) should choose either to pass to playter to their side (GD in diagram) or into the empty space. You should be able to tell where they will feed it by their movement, body positioning and footwork. These are good skills to have on the court so you can ball should be fed into the space (using the 3 passes), and the player who is nearest the space should run to that space.

When everyone chases the ball, nobody is free. Teach your team to spread out, offer two options and clear space so the ball moves cleanly down court.
