Objective To practice ball handling and footwork skills. Groups of four to six players. Description Players line up with one standing out in front with a ball. P1 leads out to take a pass on an angle of about 45°. The ball is thrown to the space ahead of the moving player. Player one lands in a balanced position preferably on the outside foot, grounds the second foot and passes back to the thrower. Extension 1: Pivot to pass to the next player in the line who would then pass back to the thrower before making a lead. Extension2: Place a cone out on the first lead. The player must change direction at the cone then make another lead to take a pass.

A ready-to-run Halloween session for High 5 and junior netball. Real drills in spooky costume, with a warm-up, a technical block, a decision-making game and a finish.
Tight markers win when attackers run in straight lines. Teach your players to dodge, change pace and time their drive so they get free when the ball is ready.
When everyone chases the ball, nobody is free. Teach your team to spread out, offer two options and clear space so the ball moves cleanly down court.
