Split the class into two teams. One team is down one end of the court and the other is down the other end of the court. 5 balls are lined up at the half way line. When the whistle is blown, students must run out and pick up the balls, pass back to their team, who is then aiming to throw the ball over the river and into an empty spot on the court. Teams score points by landing their throw to the ground of the other teams third. Can play multiple rounds. Students may only throw into the other teams third if they are out of the river, in their own third.

A ready-to-run Halloween session for High 5 and junior netball. Real drills in spooky costume, with a warm-up, a technical block, a decision-making game and a finish.
Tight markers win when attackers run in straight lines. Teach your players to dodge, change pace and time their drive so they get free when the ball is ready.
When everyone chases the ball, nobody is free. Teach your team to spread out, offer two options and clear space so the ball moves cleanly down court.
