Equipment: 2 spots in a line to mark starting point 1 large road cone on top of a chair (raised using a box) 1 ball 1 worker (middle) 1 passer 1 sweep Worker (A) drives to 45 and cuts back to receive a straight line pass from the Post Turns and passes flat and hard to the road cone to try and whack it off the chair and onto the ground Sweeper cleans up: puts cone back if hit, chair and box back up Worker chases own ball at jogging pace Work through quite quickly so Attackers have lots of turns at hitting target Rotate Post, Worker and Sweep Progression: Take away green spots Add a defender that only defends at 3 feet (no intercepting or restrictive marking) Take large cone off chair and player needs to bounce ball hard so cone falls over
Questions for Players: HOW do you hit the Cone/How can be successful? Feet - where? Hips - where? Arms - where?

A ready-to-run Halloween session for High 5 and junior netball. Real drills in spooky costume, with a warm-up, a technical block, a decision-making game and a finish.
Tight markers win when attackers run in straight lines. Teach your players to dodge, change pace and time their drive so they get free when the ball is ready.
When everyone chases the ball, nobody is free. Teach your team to spread out, offer two options and clear space so the ball moves cleanly down court.
